May May
Wednesday, February 25th, 2009A beautiful Asian version of a true tsunami story, Owen and Mzee, by Isabelle Hatkoff, May May (written in Burmese) is the tale of a young water bufffalo who loves his Mama very much but gets separated from her in a big storm and is washed up on a beach and adopted by a Mama cow.
Drawn by a talented Burmese illustrator/cartoonist the images are simple but vibrant. Printed in Myanmar for the survivors of Cyclone Nargis.
Looks awesome! Where can I get one?
Seriously, do you sell these outside of Burma also?
We don’t currently ship anything outside Myanmar, but we are working on finding a reliable method of distribution.
Thanks very much – looking forward to it!
You’re very welcome! We do have a some printable PDF versions of a few posters, brochures and other Yinthway materials.
How many books do you normally print in a year?
Is there an English version of ‘May May’ or a Myanmar/ English bilingual version of ‘May May’ please
